Diversified Industries (DI) C&IS, based in Orlando, Florida, awarded service agreement from SunLine Transit Agency June 2017 to provide DI’s SMART Unplanned Maintenance cloud-based application. SMART will be used for troubleshooting and generating best-practice repair procedures for SunLine Transit Agency’s fuel cell electric buses. SunLine Transit Agency is a Southern California public transportation agency that is based in Thousand Palms, California. - Official Press Release -

The Orion spacecraft is NASAs newest capsule intended to launch astronauts to the Moon, Mars, and beyond. Exploration Flight Test 1 launched the Orion capsule on top of a Delta IV Heavy from Launch Complex 37B at Cape Canaveral.

The 2013 MRO Americas was held at the Georgia World Conference Center is Atlanta, Georgia. With nearly 10,000 industry specialists attending, MRO Americas is THE show for airline maintenance professionals. DI spent two days walking the floor meeting with some of the 1000 exhibitors showcasing their products and services.

President Martin Belson attended the National Business Aviation Association's (NBAA) 65th annual Meeting and Conference in Orlando Florida at the Orange County Convention Center. He also attended a private networking luncheon with 50+ Canadian companies sponsored by the Consulate General of Canada Ms. Louise Louis Leger. Also in attendance was the Canadian Trade Commissioner Ms. Sandra Peart, and Canadian Astronaut Ms. Julie Payette who has flown on Space Shuttle Discovery, Endeavor and on the International Space Station. Ms. Payette was also a keynote speaker at the luncheon. The meeting led to other very productive follow-up meetings with the Trade Commissioner.

DI was one of three speakers invited to speak at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) Space Life Science Laboratory (SLSL) to the NASA Chief Technologist, Dr. Mason Peck. Dr. Peck was visiting KSC from NASA headquarters in Washington D.C.. Mr. Martin Belson was asked to tell the story of DI's commercialization effort of the SMART software. Following their presentations, the DI team met with Dr. Peck and the NASA Innovative Partnerships Chief Officer Dave Makufka. Dr. Peck suggested to Mr. Makufka that his staff at KSC work with DI to spin-back SMART technology into other NASA programs. The NASA/KSC Innovative Partnership Office has indicated via e-mail that they would like to host a meeting with DI to discuss infusion opportunities for SMART.
